Doin' Crimes - Generative Music Video
As part of the release for Code Pump's debut EP released on Truth Radio, we came together to collaborate on a generative music video. Using various computer vision and machine learning algorithms we built a narrative stemming from the inspiration for the EP, 1984's Repo Man, bringing it into the modern age. The idea of committing crimes being viewed by a computer became very interesting to us and by slowly peeling away the layers of what is seen down to representational indications of the theories behind these processes we hope to bring the viewer one step closer to both the music, concept and surveillance in their surroundings.
